The Cavern Club Live Lounge

Following-on from their highly successful debut show in London, Glenn Gregory and Berenice Scott now bring their Afterhere project to The Cavern in Liverpool.

Expect a showcase of their debut Album ‘Addict’ plus a couple of favourites from their Heaven17 and Bowie catalogue.

AFTERHERE partners-up electro pioneer Glenn Gregory with composer, vocalist and pianist Berenice Scott. Together they write beautiful, contemporary and bewitching music.

They met at an airport in Denmark when they were both there to perform (in different bands) at a music festival. Their paths crossed again in London a couple of months later and they haven’t stopped working together since, both writing music and touring extensively – in the UK, Europe and America as Heaven 17 and in America, Asia and Canada with Tony Visconti’s Holy Holy.    Recently, Glenn and Berenice spent time in Beijing where they composed the score for an all-girl Chinese Contemporary Dance group to be performed across China in 2018, coming to Europe later in the year. They have also written the music for the Broadway production of ‘A Clockwork Orange’ and composed the music for the six part critically acclaimed ITV drama ‘LIAR’ which aired in autumn 2017, as well.

A recent Afterhere cover of the Bob Dylan track ‘All Along The Watch Tower’ brought the attention of the makers of the then new and highly anticipated Amazon/ITV series ‘VANITY FAIR’. Glenn and Berenice were thrilled that their version of Dylan’s classic song was featured as the opening title music for this epic blockbuster adaptation starring Michael Palin, Tom Bateman, Suranne Jones and Olivia Cooke.

They love working together and amidst all this touring and composing they have also been writing their debut album under the name Afterhere. ‘ADDICT’ is a collection of tracks encompassing joy, heartache, depth and sorrow, fused together by an intrinsic regard and value for classic songwriting and all underpinned by their distinctive brand of cinematic expansiveness.

Calling on references as diverse as Kraftwerk, Karen Carpenter, Daft Punk and Hall & Oates, they hope it’s an album that will transport you to the creative world both Glenn and Berenice have imagined and brought to life through their individual wealth of musical experience and unrestrained, unique vision.
