BEYOND THE BEATLES
The Story of The Cavern Club – From The Beatles to the present day!
The Beatles played the Cavern Club a staggering 292 times between 1961 and 1963 but everyone knows there is much more to the Cavern than the Fab Four!
This show takes a musical romp through over 60 years and celebrates the many artists that have performed here at this legendary venue. Of course, you will hear the sounds of John, Paul, George and Ringo, but let’s not forget the likes of The Kinks, The Rolling Stones, Gerry & The Pacemakers, Cilla Black, The Who, Stevie Wonder, Status Quo, Queen. In more recent years bands such as Oasis, Arctic Monkeys, Jake Bugg, Adele have graced our famous stage…the list goes on.
This show is presented and performed by The Tony Skeggs Band, and produced in association with the Cavern Club itself. Tony is a resident artist at the Cavern and was a founding member of the UK’s premiere 60’s band The Overtures.
