THE POPPERMOST and friends – Live At The Cavern Club
Direct from Glasgow with “that Clydeside-Beat” it’s THE POPPERMOST on their first UK TOUR!
Hot on the heels of the release of debut long player (that’s an LP kids!) “Hits To Spare”, the group will be taking over the Cavern Club Liverpool Live Lounge on November 14thfor a night of FAB pop, rock ‘n’ roll ravers and swinging R & B.
Expect a healthy dose of Merseybeat stompers, Girl-Group gems, pounding rockers as well as poppin’ Poppermost originals from the record, all wrapped up in a dance-floor destroying powerhouse of pop-tastic proportions!
Joining The Poppermost will be Liverpool’s own (and Think Like A Key label-mates) NOVELTY ISLAND playing songs from the new album “How Are You Coping With This Century?”, a glorious blast of sunny, quasi-psychedelic alt-pop!
Completing the bill is our favourite London-dwelling Welshman and “potty-mouthed troubador” SIMON LOVE! Described by Shindig Magazine as “wickedly British and distinctly funny”, Mr Love combines witty, Sardonic humour with vintage pop smarts and legendary song-writing chops.
