Peter Coyle, the singer from THE LOTUS EATERS, will be performing the ‘No Sense Of Sin’ Album. It will be the 40th Anniversary Concert.
Peter was the founding member, songwriter and lead vocalist of The Lotus Eaters. It will be an intimate performance with acoustic guitar and voice performing the entire NO SENSE OF SIN ALBUM. There will be an additional set playing his solo material.
Everyone can remember the first time The Lotus Eaters appeared on BBC1’s flagship music show ‘Top of the Pops’ performing their evergreen single ‘The First Picture Of You’ in 1983. It has been described as the perfect pop single on numerous occasions. ‘The First Picture Of You’ eventually reached #15 in the UK pop charts.
Formed by ex-Jass Babies singer Peter Coyle and ex-Wild Swans members Jem Kelly and Ged Quinn, The Lotus Eaters went on to release several classic singles ‘It Hurts’ ‘You Don’t Need Someone New’ and ‘Out On Your Own’ before the seminal debut LP ‘No Sense Of Sin’ came out in 1984.
Forty years since the LP’s release, original lead vocalist and founding member Peter Coyle will perform the ‘No Sense of Sin’ LP in full.
