A special night of Beatles music and inspiration as Vicky McClure’s Our Dementia Choir return to The Cavern Club for their third annual benefit concert on Tuesday, November 11th 2025.
This FAB DAY celebration promises an evening of music, emotion, and Beatles spirit as Vicky McClure’s Our Dementia Choir return to The Cavern Club to perform an uplifting medley of Beatles classics, conducted by Daniela Smith.
Now in its third annual appearance, the choir brings a heartfelt performance to Liverpool’s most iconic music venue — a place where The Beatles’ legacy lives on. The event is free to attend, with guests encouraged to make a small donation in support of dementia awareness and music therapy initiatives.
The night will be hosted by Simon Weitzman of FAB Days CIC, filmmaker behind A Love Letter To The Beatles. FAB Days CIC works tirelessly to bring Beatles music and instruments into care homes across the UK, enriching the lives of people living with dementia and other memory-based conditions.
This project was originally inspired by The Cavern Club’s Bill Heckle, who envisioned a Beatles-themed care home experience. That dream now lives on through the continued efforts of Simon Weitzman and his team, who aim to establish a not-for-profit Beatles music programme for care settings across the UK and beyond.
Beatles historian Mark Lewisohn first proposed celebrating November 11th as a meaningful date in Beatles history — a day to honour their story and legacy through community, kindness, and song.
Liverpool West Productions proudly sponsor this year’s concert for the third time, supporting both The Cavern Club’s film interests in the USA and the ongoing work of Our Dementia Choir. Founded by Doug Schwab, Liverpool West Productions is dedicated to projects that celebrate the healing power of music and storytelling.
