They discovered an unconditional passion in common: The Beatles. From the dream of honouring their idols they decided to create BGirls in 2010.
With intense performance and great personality in their arrangements, they create new versions of some of the songs and perform a varied repertoire in a consistent way playing.
In 2015, the band will perform in the tour “BGirls – 5 anos de Beatles por elas” (BGirls – 5 years of Beatles by women), which is the most special moment of the band’s history until now. Besides being the birthday celebration, it’s the result of five years of dedication, more than a hundred shows, thousands of fans on Facebook and shared dreaming. The dreams, that felt so distant before, come true this year!
The initial idea of having a little series of commemorative shows expanded, all of a sudden, to a four-month tour with more than thirty shows in different countries. And, to get even better, the band will have the opening and closure of the tour in the two biggest Beatle-maniac events in the world: Abbey Road on the River – Louisville, USA, International BeatleWeek – Liverpool, UK!
Today, with Marina Tavares on guitar and vocals, Bruna Neves on guitar and vocals, Ju Milasseno on bass and vocals and Yara Oliveira on drums and vocals, BGirls promise a unique show that will bring back that feeling that the eternal boys of Liverpool left!
