Two of Us

“Two of Us” are a guarantee for a unique interpretation of the music of the sixties. Adrie van Osch and Jos Vervoort perform regularly at weddings, parties and festivals, such as the International Beatles Convention and the Dutch Kinks Fan Meeting, both in Utrecht, Holland.

Every now and then you can hear them sing on the radio and television. They also play outside the Netherlands frequently and they have many fans in Germany, Belgium, France and Great Britain.

Their first appearance at the Beatle Week was in 2000 and they had more than 60 gigs since then. Two of Us regard their performances in the Cavern Club as the “Toppermost of the Poppermost” of their career and consider the stage at The Cavern Club on which the Fab Four played to be holy ground.

In 2010 Two of Us was invited at the Cavern Club in Buenos Aires. That was a fantastic experience they will never forget.

Adrie and Jos adapt the music of their youth as authentically as is possible for a two-man-band. Arranging the complex Beatles songs for one guitar, two vocals, a sax or flute and a tambourine is a challenging task.

They get many compliments from their audiences for the result. Within their extensive sixties repertoire they play 125 Beatles songs and this number is still growing. At the gigs in Liverpool Two of Us hand out playlists and they only play the requests of the public. This year they will play also the albums Rubber Soul and Revolver entirely.

Two of Us are Adrie van Osch (guitar, vocals) and Jos Vervoort (vocals, tenor sax, flute, mouth-organ, tambourine, maracas)
