In March 2015, the second Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds album, “Chasing Yesterday” was released, & after years of deliberation, Matt put together a band to recreate the Oasis leader’s songs & shows, & fulfill a long held dream of playing a whole set of Noel’s songs.
Since the band started gigging they’ve played to thousands of people at festivals, music venues, bars & pubs across England, Wales & Scotland, as well as a New Year’s event in Dubai in 2022.
With Matt on vocals & guitars, the band is Tom (keyboard & backing vocals), Stefan (bass), Mal (drums & backing vocals), Sean (guitars), Sam (harmonica) & Lisa (backing vocals & percussion)
This is the band’s sixth year of playing at the legendary Cavern Club, and they’re the only tribute name-checked by The Chief himself…
