Merseyside’s best busker is to be crowned at a special Battle of the Buskers night in The Cavern Club – the most famous club in the world.
The charity night on 23rd October will also feature Daniel Taylor who has performed as John Lennon in America, Canada and throughout the UK.
As well as performing the singer, song-writer, actor and producer will host the night which will also feature a half-hour tribute to The Eagles by the international band Silk.
Gerry Marsden was patron of Merseyside’s Holistic Cancer Centre and all funds raised will go to the charity. The night is being supported by the Cavern Club itself as well as Merseyside’s Glass recording studios and the Busker Whiskey Company.
The Fab Four Finalists in the Battle of the Buskers who will be performing on the night are Grace Chloe, John-Paul Cumberlidge, Geoff Chandler and Ellie Hayes. The winner will receive a range of prizes including a unique Liver Bird trophy and a recording session in Glass Studios.
