XTC’s legendary drummer Terry Chambers is back behind the kit — and he’s bringing EXTC to The Cavern Club for a night celebrating one of the UK’s most inventive post-punk and new-wave bands.
Formed in 2019 and named with the full blessing of XTC frontman Andy Partridge, EXTC reignite the energy of XTC’s classic era, performing the songs fans never forgot — and can finally hear live again.
Emerging from the late-70s post-punk explosion, XTC toured globally with bands like The Police and Talking Heads, building a loyal international following. But when the band stopped touring in 1982, fans were left without the live XTC experience for decades.
That all changes with EXTC.
