LIPA Live at the Cavern
Monthly, original music night from LIPA students!
LIPA: Live At The Cavern is an event hosted by The Cavern Club in Liverpool. It showcases up-and-coming artists in the Liverpool / North West scene, with performances by artists and bands from all genres. LIPA: Live At The Cavern is focused on allowing said artists a platform to express themselves via their music, and give them the opportunity of a lifetime with the ability to play at one of the world’s most infamous gig venues. LIPA: Live At The Cavern is directed and managed by three management students from the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, using their experience and connections to make the event possible. Allowing for one of LIPA’s most collaborative events, bringing all sides of the institution together for the benefit of the audience.
Lola:
Lola took the phrase ‘touch grass’ too literally and is now an artist very much inspired by nature and the world around her. The London born singer-songwriter writes pop (with an element of folk, jazz and musical theatre) about love or lack thereof. With inspirations like Hozier, Noah Kahan, Lizzy McAlpine and Bleachers: Lola is bound to make you buy a last minute train ticket to the lake district to have an aesthetic mental crisis.
Mariona Aguilera:
Mariona Aguilera is a 21-year-old upcoming pop/Spanish pop artist from Barcelona, currently based in Liverpool, UK. Her songs are clearly influenced by Spanish music with her main influences being Iván Herzog, Pablo Alborán, and Tiny Habits. Mariona blends and merges these influences to create a well rounded and unique sound to connect with her audience.
Amelia Hoff:
Amelia Hoff is a 21-year-old singer/songwriter from the north of Norway, who effortlessly writes about her emotions. Influenced by artists such as Remi Wolf, Amy Winehouse, Jessie Reyez and Declan McKenna, her sound is funky alternative pop with elements of soul and R&B.
The Live Lounge is a standing venue with some unreserved seating. Seating is not guaranteed and may not be available for all shows. If you have a disability and need a seat please call us on 0151 236 1965 in advance to make arrangements!
