SHEA IFE
Shea Ife is a modern RNB, neo soul and jazz inspired artist that also experiments with smooth feminine rap features. Her voice is rich and ethereal, reminiscent of Cleo Sol, Snoh Aalegra and Lianne La havas. Catch Shea Ife at LIPA live at Cavern with her live band and rap features!
OH MOTHER
Oh Mother meld elements of 90s grunge, 70s soul jazz, and progressive rock to make something familiar, but completely new. Add introspective lyrics about failed relationships and the human condition to the melting pot and there’s something there for everyone.
INTERAIL
Interail are a post shoegazey grunge project of uni students Ethan Briscoe, Elliot Collings, Reuben Roscoe and Ask Bekkadal. inspired by the sounds of the 90’s; the smashing pumpkins, slowdive, deftones, and more recent bands; feeble little horse, Julie, Whirr, the band aim to create explosive music.
The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts was famously founded by Sir Paul McCartney, using the old building of the Liverpool Institute for Boys, where he and George Harrison attended school. In 2012 LIPA bought the Art College next door, which John Lennon attended at the time these three future Beatles began their music careers.
It’s a real privilege to be able to collaborate with such a historic and iconic institution to continue to bring new music to The Cavern Club!
LIPA Live at the Cavern are a non-profit organisation, collaborating with students from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts to allow them to perform their original music on the stage of The Cavern Club.
The Live Lounge is a standing venue with some unreserved seating. Seating is not guaranteed and may not be available for all shows. If you have a disability and need a seat please call us on 0151 236 1965 in advance to make arrangements!
