Sound of the Underground returns to The Cavern Club Liverpool for two electrifying nights celebrating the next generation of live music.
Taking place on 19th and 21st May 2026, this exciting showcase features some of Merseyside’s most talented young musicians from the renowned LIPA Sixth Form College (LSFC). These performances mark the students’ end-of-year shows before they embark on their final year — a pivotal moment in their musical journey.
With a legacy of artists who have gone on to achieve major success across the UK music scene, Sound of the Underground continues to be a launchpad for rising stars. Previous performers have gone on to form bands such as The Mysterines, STONE, and Crawlers, making this event a must-see for anyone passionate about discovering new music.
Set in the world-famous Cavern Club, the home of live music in Liverpool, this is your chance to experience the raw energy, creativity, and ambition of tomorrow’s artists in an intimate, iconic setting.
