The Treacherous Cretins return to Liverpool on 26 October for a very special Frank Zappa Halloween show, delivering an evil, electrifying evening of Zappa classics in one of the most iconic live music venues on the planet.
Frank Zappa famously loved Halloween, and the Cretins honour that spirit with a set packed full of the scariest, most spine-tingling cuts from his vast catalogue. Expect twisted musicianship, dark humour, and fearless performances as they tear through fan favourites alongside deep cuts rarely, if ever, performed live.
🎸 A very special anniversary
2026 also marks 60 years since the release of Freak Out!, Frank Zappa’s groundbreaking 1966 debut with The Mothers of Invention. Across a 27-year career, Zappa released 62 albums, reshaping rock, jazz, satire, and progressive music along the way.
To celebrate this milestone, Treacherous Cretins have crafted a setlist that journeys through every era of Zappa’s music:
