EDSTOCK festival is back for its sixth year
Yorkshire’s finest bands will once again provide a day of music and entertainment to suit every age and taste. A musical journey that captures the history of the famous Cavern Club. From Jazz, Mersey Beat, Rock ‘n’ Roll, Soul, Rock, New Wave right up to the present day.
1:30pm – 2:30pm: TRI-STAR
This special multi- instrumentalist trio blend gorgeous harmonies providing a smooth and uplifting performance which was live-streamed last year. Perfect start to the day.
2:45pm – 3:45pm: VICTORY SAMOSA
Our special young guest band playing original music are appearing at The Cavern for the very first time. Championed recently by Radio 6, this band is destined for great things. You can say you saw them here first!
4:00pm – 5:00pm: THE MIX
One of the UKs finest party bands. Perfect Cavern sing -a- long anthems, From Queen, Kinks, Blondie and more. Their heart felt and beautifully timed tribute to Tina Turner last year brought the house down.
5:15pm – 6:15pm: GROOVETONE
Funky/Jazzy/soul/Latin and blues. Eclectic Cavern regulars playing everything from Stray Cats/Specials/Tom Waits/Dr Feelgood/Stevie Wonder and more. Fancy a Dance folks?
6:30pm – 7:30pm: THE SECRETS
Very special guests Martin Ledger, the voice and guitar of uks number one Dire Straits tribute Alchemy UK, and Classic rocks award winning vocalist Heidi Widdop, are joining forces to perform a complete set of Pink Floyd. Virtuoso performances for this one- off event. Very special.
7:45pm – 8:45pm: CHARLIE DAYKIN & AVA ROSE
Charlie is a Yorkshire keyboard legend and Ava has a voice of extraordinary depth. Expect Norah Jones/Amy Winehouse/Adele and much and more. These guys have shared stages over the years with everyone from Shed Seven, KT Tunstall and The Hothouse Flowers to name but a few. Their first Cavern appearance.
